Location: in the loop, in the historic Fisher Bldg at 343 S. Dearborn which is between Jackson and Van Buren
Public Transport: The Blue Line Jackson exit is 10 feet from the front door.
Parking: easy b/c the loop is a ghost town. cabs are easy as well.
Cost: Free
Musical style: deephous whizkids from Loveslap! Recordings with deejays Juano, Charles Spencer and Darrell Woodson
Otherwise, obviously it's 21+, there are drink specials. The crowd is mellow and wonderfully mixed and up for hanging out as well as a little boogie.
With regard to how the night is described, I suppose that's up to you, but I would like to plug Loveslap! Recordings because we create a lot of the music we play and don't run a laundry list of deejays through the place because we have our own identity musically and globally by virtue of releasing records for the last decade...and we seek to build the same sort of identity for the night.
