After eight editions characterized by a progressive increase of attendance and contents, Design Week Festival, organized by Elita, comes back from the 9th till the 13th april 2014 in Milano perfectly fitting in the always growing program of Fuorisalone, with the burden of integrating the traditional offer of Design Week (Settimana del Design) with a wide and organic series of musical and cultural events featuring a strong tendency towards the entertainment.
#SPACEMAKERS is the central and leading theme of the 2014 festival edition, that is the relation between space and creative expression: borrowing from the international movement of the Makers the imperative regarding making ourself everything that could satisfy our own daily needs, elita tries to set up a new map of potential locations for the artistic expression, proposing a program with an official execution in the festival's traditional settings, but also invading odd and unusual spaces with the a proposal of contents contextualized to the “DIY – Do it yourself”.
