Selador Records was launched by Dave Seaman and Steve Parry in 2013 and the imprint has made a nice dent in a crowded marketplace with cuts from Robert Babicz, Samu.l, Darren Emerson amongst others as well as Seaman himself in the first few months of the labels’ life.
The Luna gig will showcase the huge talents of the label head honchos, both playing extended sets. Dave Seaman needs no introduction, he epitomises the DJ that has been there from the start and still enjoys worldwide success to this day. Many others have fallen by the wayside, yet Dave remains as current as he always has been. Liverpool’s own Steve Parry joins Dave as the two Selador boys get together again; those who witnessed their last joint appearance in Liverpool will testify that this is a fantastic partnership.
The Boutique is a perfect venue for Luna – intimate with a fantastic Funktion One soundsystem; it’s a venue that is focusing on working with quality underground promoters and one that is certainly being talked about across the city.
