From an intimate gathering of music loving friends, to thousands of people losing their minds in dark warehouses, disused theatres, abandoned cellars and globally renowned clubs; the venues may change but Moda's ethics stay the same - forward thinking music, ground-breaking DJ's and a party that will stay with you forever. Since meeting in 2008 Jaymo & Andy have established one of the UK's most dynamic music brands, set-up two successful record labels, performed two live Radio 1 Essential Mixes, produced a cover-mount CD for Mixmag and secured two of the most important residencies in the world; We Love… Space in Ibiza and Fabric London. Their obsessive approach to finding new music has lead to an ongoing relationship with Radio 1, where the guys can often be found sharing their favourite records with millions of worldwide listeners. As well as releasing music from established acts, J&AG have gained respect for finding the best emerging talent, with artists such as Hot Since 82, Disclosure and Plezier all releasing on their Moda Black record label. Moda Black also provides a platform for J&AG's original productions, with recent releases such as The Hump and How It Goes getting huge love from the likes of Claude VonStroke, MANIK, Dusky and Catz n Dogz. Whilst 2012 marked the release of the debut Moda Black Album (13 exclusive tracks by the labels artists and extended family, mixed by J&AG), countless festivals and their return residency at We Love… Space and Fabric London, 2013 promises to be even more exciting for Jaymo & Andy George, with some of their biggest ever projects about to unfold… The Mekanism Continues in the rich history of fine Parisian House Music. In a very short period of time the young French producer has created an international following after a selection of sought after remixes and a stunning debut EP on Needwant records. Damien Roussel began his musical career path in 2000, DJing in some of the best clubs in Paris. After moving to Asia he began to make music rather then just play it and begin the journey towards The Mekanism. After moving back to Paris his first release came on the London based taste-making label Needwant, featuring two coveted singles ‘Can’t Believe’ and ‘Missing Love’. These two slices of low slung, warm analogue inspired House music have continued to pop up on dancefloors worldwide. A remix for Mario Basanov’s ‘We Are Child Of Love’ for the same label and a remix for Deep House stalwarts Noir only cemented The Mekanism’s reputation amongst connoisseurs of House in the summer of 2012. The Mekanism’s modern house sound is now moving dance floors across the globe with a busy DJ schedule touching down in just about every continent. This is alongside a monthly residency at the Social Club in his home city of Paris where his DJ credentials are proved time after time. The year ahead will bring not only more remixes but original productions with releases on labels such as NTFO’s Sintope and Exploited. Coat Of Arms Music has a love of big bass, melodic chords and slick beats and has created a sound clash with more fight than the “Battle of Hastings”. Weaving varying styles together has seen this sound become one of masterful proportions and looks set to take this project into unknown realms of possibility. 2011/ 2012 saw Coat Of Arms headline at a range of internationally known venues including places such as: Hive (Zurich), Sound Control (Manchester), Junk (Southampton), Warehouse (Leeds), Basing House (London), Chicago Social Club (Amsterdam), Lightbox (London), The Garage (Leeds), Schmitze Katze (Freiburg) & many more stables of house music religion. The support for this "bumpin house" alias has come from every angle with plays on Radio 1 to big ups and features inside UK magazines. The début track “Is This Something” was featured on Jamie Jones Live Essential Mix from Ibiza on Radio 1 and Jamie also contributed a special edit for his Fabric CD Mix. This accolade along with a number of other tracks; including the top 5 hit "What You Need" on Pets Recordings and the epic take on Viadrina's - Luna for Your Mama's Friend shows why this project is hot property. Support has already come in the form of the mighty Pete Tong, Jamie Jones, Claude Vonstroke, Maya Jane Coles, Justin Martin, Heidi, Catz n Dogz, Julio Bashmore and many others and with releases on Pets Recordings, Futureboogie, Leftroom, Culprit & remixes on many more, it’s easy to see why there's no shortage of interest in Coat Of Arms.
