Framework with Lucretio (3hr set) - G-String - Ocke Weeda

  • ONLY 200 TICKETS AVAILABLE Intense vinyl defender, Analogue Cop, and double label-owner Lucretio has a hard-on for Detroit techno in its purest form: from the machines to tape, from tape to vinyl, never forgetting that techno still has its roots deeply imbedded in house and disco. Together with his childhood companion Marieu he first started to bring their machine drum funk to an audience in 2007 under the name Xenogears, when they were both living in Barcelona. Ensuring themselves of complete freedom in their artistic choices, they took the risky but well-considered step of founding RESTORATION REC. as an outlet for their uncompromising techno. The name refers to their wish to restore a more pure and traditional way of producing electronic music. The first seven releases all feature tracks of Eduardo De La Calle, who they followed from Barcelona to Berlin and who put even more emphasis on the importance of even analogue processing of their mixes: not a single computer ought to be used. Having moved to Berlin, they formed the Lucretio & Marieu aka The Analogue Cops , a duo with the same philosophy but an increased focused on house, Marieu’s main area of interest. In this formation, they have been doing collaborations of all sorts with, for example, nd_baumecker, Blawan, Ryan Elliott and Steffi, the latter under the name Third Side. In 2011, Lucretio founded his solo label called Machine State Polymers, again hardware only and from tape to vinyl, often recorded in one take, thereby maintaining a ‘live’ feeling. In his solo releases, he tends to explore the entire spectrum of electronic music, including Detroit techno and disco-ish house edits, but also tracks reminiscent of Drexciya’s broken electro mayhem. He will be doing a 3 hr set, leaving him all the freedom to explore and surprise us with tracks from his personal collection!
