We are super excited to bring you a showcase of the deep, heady textural electronic sounds of Berlin's Sven Laux and UK's Aepiel. Both having released on the Dewtone imprint, these boys are masters of sonic sculpture, each putting their own personal touch on the art of organic micro-composition.
Sven Laux's music is detailed and intricate, a finely-woven tapestry of discrete sound that never fails to form a cohesive whole. Often utilizing foundsounds and field recordings his music very comfortably and beautifully spans synthetic and natural worlds.
Aepiel similarly incorporates elements of ambient and dub techno to craft soundscapes just as deep and earthy as they are light and ethereal. The soft underlying pulse of rhythm steadily remains, pushing the music forward.
San Francisco's very own Alex Blackstock will provide the opening set, an artist himself dedicated to the pursuit of soft and sexy minimalism.
