It is with great pleasure that we welcome one of the UK's most sort after electronic music platforms, Bristol's Futureboogie Recordings to Oxford to showcase their thang. As an agency, the FB team look after some of the most talk about artists around such as Bonobo, Crazy P and Maxxi Soundsystem, and as a label; they have continued to stimulate the record collections of literally anyone with an eclectic ear for music, with a string of incredibly influential releases. We decided to get in contact with them purely because we've been absolutely loving their continued impeccable behaviour of late, and we can assure you that what we have in store come the 25th April is going to be something very special indeed. HACKMAN

22 year old Hackman has been one of the most rewarding artists to emerge from the UK’s ever-shifting dance music landscape in recent years. His versatile approach to music has led him into collaboration with the likes of Lana Del Rey and TEED, and his productions have caused a stir in the minds of heavyweights such as Gilles Petersen and Skream. Recently, Hackman's sound has been effortlessly manoeuvred into the realms of house music via an incredible release on Futureboogie; the "Change My Life" EP, along with a forthcoming release on the label - a remix on Felix Dickinson's "Burning Flame" EP, set to drop soon.

Luke Turner aka Lukas is in demand as a producer, DJ, and promoter of one of the most important and widely anticipated music events in Bristol, Alfresco Disco. A serial collaborator, his studio is a much visited place, with his friends Eats Everything, Waifs and Strays, Christophe and many more all dropping by to cook up beats. Since it's inception as a free party in 2007, Luke has guided the Alfresco Disco brand on to become a foreign festival (Alpfresco), a record label, and one of the most highly anticipated music events in the UK. With plenty of fresh new solo material set to drop off the back of his massive "Back To Boogie" EP, along with the continued success of his own parties, things are shaping up very nicely indeed.

Dave Harvey and Steve Nickolls have established an outstanding reputation under the banner of Futureboogie as DJs and selectors of the highest order. Through anchoring the Futureboogie club night in Bristol during this period, their sets have supported some of the most lauded names in electronic music, from Carl Craig to Moodymann. The natural progression of their brand has seen them also helm Futureboogie Records, via which they have released music from the likes of Julio Bashmore, Eats Everything and Maxxi Soundsystem. It’s the skilful ear for contemporary house sounds prevalent in their DJ sets that has made the label’s releases some of the most eagerly sought records within the genre in recent times. Label parties all over the UK and Europe have also seen Dave and Steve’s DJing reach an increasingly wide range of audiences. Expect an educated trip through the diverse world of house music that never strays too far from its historical roots.
We of course have our talented TheseDays residents performing on the night, who've without a doubt been the most important part of making our parties stand out as they have since they kicked off in 2012.
