Following our excellent debut night at Club Odder with Jon K & Charlie Bones, Heads Up! are pleased to announce our next event on May 16th with collector, musician, label manager and DJ Chris Read!
CHRIS READ (BBE / Music of Substance / Breakin' Bread)

Releasing music on labels such as Breakin' Bread, BBE & his own Music of Substance imprint, Chris has etched his name as a versatile and current figurehead in the UK music scene. He is well known for his run of impressive mixtapes and his successful BBC 1Xtra radio show which has introduced listeners to his take on boogie, hip hop, disco, soul and much more! He has also just released his album "Small Steps", showcasing the Breakin' Bread catalogue highlights from the last few years. He is also one of the co-founders of the always satisfying "WhoSampled.com" website!
