We are so proud and happy to announce the return of DPM for part 2 of our 4 Summer Soundays this year. No need for much more introductions so let me get down to the nitty gritty of it all: For this event we bring you 4 international acts in the shape of: KONSTANTIN SIBOLD (Innervisions, Stuttgart) Konstantin Sibold is a Stuttgart-based DJ, producer, mastering engineer and cofounder of the COMMON SENSE PEOPLE event series. Back in 2009 he became the youngest resident DJ of the club Rocker 33 in Stuttgart, where he was asked to play with people like Ellen Allien, Adam Beyer, Marco Carola, Josh Wink, Michael Mayer and many more. In 2010 his first vinyl "Neuland" was released on Salon Rosi Rec., which was founded by the same guys who were responsible for the techno imprints Neue Heimat and Mutter in the mid 90s. Kompakt Köln was so stunned by the demo files they've heard that they asked for an exclusive distribution deal for Konstantin Sibold's release. With the support of Kompakt, it became one of the big techno records in the Cologne scene 2010, with people like Michael Mayer and Âme playing it. In 2011 his much-noticed classic house release "Leif" / "Mariam" followed on the french label Caramelo and reached place #6 in the decks house buzz charts and was and still is heavily played by acts like Move D, Soundstream, Sven Weisemann and Lovebirds. Move D was asked in an interview for a favourite track and he answered: "Leif by Konstantin Sibold."In 2012 his second house release "Aleks" on Caramelo even reached place #2 in decks house buzz charts with place #1 in the categories Disco, Chicago House and Detroit House. Following in June 2012 Snork Enterprises released Konstantin Sibold's Stuttgart EP, which became the labels best selling record up to today, with all three tracks being in the top 100 Minimal Charts. "Matze P" even reached place 8 of Beatport minimal charts and "Nils" peak position 11. The release was charted by Joris Voorn, Steve Bug and many more and was one of Innervisions most beloved records of the summer. Dixon & Âme even played two of Konstantin Sibold's tracks in their Ibiza season opening set at We Love Space 2012. Attracting the attention of Dixon & Âme has led to his next release "Madeleine" on their Innervisions imprint, which will be followed by the "Aristoteles" release on also Berlin based Mojuba and then later in 2013 to Konstantin Sibold's Remix of Jazzanova "I Can See" which will be licensed by Dennis Ferrer from Universal Music for his New York based label Objektivity. CJ Jeff & Thodoris Triantafillou (Rhythmetic Records , Athens GR) Rhythmetic CEO, CJ Jeff was brought to the attention of the world dance music circuit when he launched his career in 2001. Born & bred a Greek, whose family thrived in a circle of sociologists, Jeff coined a sound that quickly became distinct and recognizable, with a chic aesthetic to match. 13 years down the line Jeff continues his reign from his humble abode in Athens’s. With a highly esteemed local residency lasting for over 10 years and an equally impressive 11 years at Mykonos’s “Cavo Paradiso” there’s no mistaking CJ is a formidable asset to his countries electronic outfit. But his sound has travelled much further afield, having made an impressive appearance at the 2011 Olympic’s Closing Ceremony in Athens, and worldwide performances at the likes of Watergate, Berlin & D. Edge, Sao Paulo, Jeff has covered a huge set of ambitions of which he set out to do at day one. Having shared a studio with other familiar local electronic producer, Thodoris Triantafillou, Jeff’s personal output immerses the listener into deep rolling percussion led house music that can only be executed with the experience Jeff is able to affiliate with himself. As a roster regular on Souvenir, These Days, Material and most recently joining ranks at Skint Records, it is influences such as Massive Attack that have enabled CJ to pursue such career high’s and obtain the perfect balance in his output, neatly tucked in between groove & psychedelic. As a DJ, producer and record label owner, CJ Jeff’s passion and execution of electronic music has continued to shine through his home led imprint, Rhythmetic. Thirty-three releases in and still going strong with the likes of Nick Curly and No Artificial Colours gracing the catalogue, CJ has taken the roster & output from strength to strength. As driven as ever, Jeff is set to take the next few months firmly in his stride as he takes to remix duties for Booka Shade and new homes such as Bedrock & Lapsus recognize his undeniable talent for release. Hailing from the Greek capital, Thodoris Triantafillou has excelled in all corners of the industry after devoting his life and career to a creative output that illustrates a concoction of influences from across the musical sphere. Recognized by peers and fans through a stream of compelling releases on labels such as Rhythmetic and Souvenir, it’s the composition of the philosophy behind a record, the raw energy that electronic formats have to offer, and an exploration of the inner self that makes Thodoris’s productions stand out amongst the rest. Over the past 12 months, Thodoris’ position within the dance music industry has propelled after breaching the national Greek iTunes Top 10 with “The Way”, co-produced with regular associate, CJ Jeff. One milestone onto another, Thodoris then championed all niche’s that lay in the DJ/Producer pathway with the outlook of always pushing forward as an artist to the next task at hand. Testament to this, are the events Thodoris has been hand picked for, from peak time performances at some of the most notorious European mainstays, to the sun fuelled sets that festivals and balaeric affairs alike provide. As time pushes on and music evolves, as does Thodoris. Keeping the unrelenting yet satisfying pace of the past, he looks to the horizon as awe inspired by the beautiful scene as day one. Already cemented as coordinator to Athens based Rhythmetic Records, new monuments will reveal themselves through imprints such as Bedrock and Lapsus in the following year. 2014 further brings a new light in the form of “The Glory Hill Music Studios”, from which you can expect new personal productions and the birth of a new imprint that promises to showcase a format that motivates the man behind Thodoris Triantafillou. The Cretan born musician is best known for headlining the most prestigious dance nightclubs, lounges & beach bars across Greece, while he has recently expanded into the UK, Austria & Serbia where he most recently toured.
