The Age of Love saga continues. And it is a great story about people who love music and dancing, flying away on the sounds, forgetting their worries and remembering the golden days. The days in which they danced like there was no tomorrow. The days in which the Belgian clubs blossomed and bloomed all weekend long and even longer. A time in which so many classic tracks and tunes were made …
On the previous edition, Age of Love celebrated its 6th B-day and it was a party beyond everybody’s wildest imagination. Three raving rooms with all the necessary elements to transport the party-people back to the ‘90’s: from glow-sticks and fireworks to dancers and lasers, live-percussion, robots & more. Three rooms that exploded all night long to the best sounds from the ‘90’s. As all Age of Love parties, it was a completely sold-out edition once again.
And that’s only part of what makes Age of Love such a success-story because it is the music that’s at the heart of Age of Love. And this time we will be taking a trip through our musical past with international guest Jam El Mar from Germany. He was one of the biggest stars from the German trance scene in the ‘90’s as Jam & Spoon (with Mark Spoon who passed away a few years ago). They remixed a lot of big stars as Simple Minds, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Stereo MC’s, New Order, … Their biggest hits ‘Stella’ and ‘Right in the Night’ will definitely pass the revue on Age of Love. A double CD with the most popular Jam & Spoon tracks is now also available.
Next guest is from our own backyard and one of the most respected Belgian producers from the past with Frank De Wulf. He became famous with tracks as ‘Acid Rocks’ and ‘The B-Sides’ and went on to produce for Music Man and R&S. More recently all the B-Sides releases were remastered and re-released digitally. Frank is also working on new material.
And also Airwave has been active and successful in the scene since the early days till now. 20 years in the business, several albums and countless releases have made sure Airwave was and is well-known all over the world.
Next up is one of Bonzai’s big stars with Yves Deruyter who also made the huge reputation of the Cherrymoon club as well as many others.
They will be joined by Zolex, former resident of legendary after-clubs as Carat and The Globe. He’s also known from many great productions on Dance Opera and his own Zolex Records.
No Age of Love without it’s very own resident off course, Quincy will be playing one of his rare sets which he now only plays at his own events as Extreme on Tour, History of Trance and soon also Teknoville.
This time also the earlier house-sounds will be represented at Age of Love. House masters at the decks are Tofke who built his reputation on party-island Ibiza before conquering Belgium at clubs as La Rocca and who is now an intrinsic part of the Labyrinth crew.
And also Jean Delaru is a familiar face at la Rocca these days. He used to be resident in Illusion and Carat.
Our national pride Red D from We Play House Records is the last master of ceremony at this new smashing edition of Age of Love.
All will let the love vibes flow at the beautiful Vooruit venue with again a lot of extra’s that will enhance that special atmosphere from the ‘90’s. Join them for another magical journey in party-land!
