Production duo Voices of Black consists of members Jules Born and Baba Ali. The New York based artists have released on Wolf + Lamb and Double Standard, carving out a unique sound of their own at a young age. Notorious for rythmic vocals layered over introspective lyrics and infectious melodies, their mixes take audiences on a journey that is both original and refreshing. While Voices of Black's style is undoubtedly new wave electro, there are traces of classic funk and soul clearly present in their studio productions. During Dj sets, the game becomes more house and disco focused, packed with exclusive edits and rare dancefloor jams that are sure to make their Baltimore debut a party to remember.
