The Little Festival in South LDN, with Burnski, Geddes, Alex Celler, Sam Russo & More

  • Congratulations! You have just clicked on the most unique event happening in London tonight! The Little Festival is about showcasing the talents of DJ's that have honed their craft and have their own distinct sound. Not only do we favour the DJ's that would do anything for their art. We like to bring all that is good from the romance & colour of the worlds favourite recreational activity, the Festival. There will be no trudging through mud, waiting in mile long Portaloo cues, sleepless nights or freezing cold showers. Taking the festival vibes into the night at one of south London's best known music venues this summer, The Little Festival has teamed up with Brixton Jamm to create a unique clubbing experience! Expect a fun and friendly crowd, combined with confetti canons, glowsticks, garlands, face paint and inflatables, to carry on the party til sunrise! This promises to be one of the biggest nights of the summer so far! Offering a great mixture of light, airy spaces and dark, long rooms; Brixton Jamm has hosted some of the biggest names in music including Basement Jaxx, Hot Chip and Groove Armada. The hugely talented lineup looks set to devastate the dancefloor and make memorable history at this unique venue, which sits at the heart of Brixton's lively music scene.   Burnski (One records/Real Tone)  The steadfast vinyl advocate regularly takes his organic and deep-erring sound to the most noted clubs and nights around the world. These, at a glance, include fabric London, Watergate and his home-turf of Berlin, the LA Rooftop Standard, The Electric Pickle in Miami, MAC in Barcelona and Rex Club in Paris to name but a few. Alex Celler (Tuning Spork/Brouqade/Cecille) Alex’s distinctive DJ style hints towards an obsessive attitude to crate digging – playing out an impressive blend of rare, old and modern tracks. His sound comes deep yet energetic, with strong bass lines and loose rhythms keeping the emphasis on the groove. Geddes (Truesoul/Mobilee/nofitstate) DJ and producer, Geddes is one of the true pioneers of the house and techno scene in London. Among those ahead of the game when it came to the decline of the super club and the dawn of a new era of raves in warehouses, Geddes and the now legendary event series mulletover, (founded in 2004) became an integral cog in the evolution of a thriving underground. Sam Russo (Leftroom) Starting off behind the decks at age of 18 in London’s East end, Russo cut his teeth on the Shoreditch circuit before gaining a residency with Southampton’s Junk Club, where he set the tone at heavyweight parties like Cocoon and Circo Loco. Backing up the big hitters are residents Jarmo, Mu5icology, Osmi and SmudgedUp who are set to unleash a finely crafted blend of deep, tech and techno. Dress code is relaxed, but you will need your dancing shoes and a smile.
