Howie B is one of the creators of trip hop. He collaborated with Soul II Soul on their epochal Club Classics Vol 1. He’s worked with Tricky, Björk and U2. He’s played bonkers sets of boshing techno.
He’s remixed everyone from Annie Lennox to Placebo - passing through Garbage, Simply Red and New Order - and he got also a special taste for the alternative fringes of Italian music, having collaborated with Casino Royale, Marlene Kuntz and, recently, with Ofeliadorme.
Now, he's going to come back in Milan for a special night in 65mq, introducing HB Recordings, the new label he has founded where he released the new album "Down With The Dawn" at the beginning of 2014.
For the occasion his mate and manager James McArdle takes a flight with Howie to join him at decks.
James is now at the helm of CONSTRUCT booking agency, record label and mix series. His experience and versatility as a DJ has taken him from the main room in Fabric, to illegal Metro parties in Budapest, to early morning afterhours in LA.
His approach is free of any constraints, any "brand", solely motivated by strong passion and working closely with likeminded artists, labels and promoters.
