Fast rising Hot Creations star Patrick Topping is set for a Glasgow headline show with The Shimmy on November 7th. Following a string of hit releases, Patrick has cemented his status as one of house music’s up & comers with an Ibiza residency at Paradise, DC10 this Summer.
Making his name by starting & promoting his own club night in native Newcastle, Patrick honed his craft playing alongside some of the biggest names in dance music.
After releasing his debut EP ‘Walk On’ on Hot Trax last year, Topping made his Ibiza debut at Paradise during the Summer, leading to his first release on Hot Creations, titled ‘Any Amounts’. Since then, Patrick has developed his sound, finding a knack for infectious basslines that have seen him top the Beatport tech house charts time and time again with EPs ‘Boxed Off’ and ‘Get Beasty’.
As well as holding down his Summer residency at DC10, Topping has still found the time to line up further releases for Hot Creations & Defected, and turn in remix work for Yousef amongst others.
Patrick will be joined on the night by The Shimmy regulars Vilmos & This Is I - you can be sure to expect a night of top quality house music through Saint Judes phenomenal soundsystem from all three DJs.
