Wil-Mar Center in association with Madison Music Review and Prognition Productions presents the 4th edition of Musique Electronique at the 'Mallatt's Big Top' stage at this year's La Fete de Marquette. The event will take place on July 11th and 12th at Madison's new outdoor venue - Central Park (between Brearly St. and Livingstone St) and is sure to be the hottest dance party of the year with fun for the entire family. The festivities begin at 5pm on Friday and 3pm on Saturday going through 10:30pm each night at the Big Top, and the hot summer nigh parties continue at the High Noon Saloon through 2am.
Headlining this year's festival are international house music legends Derrick Carter and Mark Farina (producer of the Mushroom Jazz series), the 'Godfather' of Acid House Charanjit Singh (Live) with his first ever US performance (at age 74!), Drumcode techno wizard Dustin Zahn and Dutch DJ and producer Thee Johanz.
Local hometown favorite, DJ Nick Nice will be host to a lively Kid's Masquerade on a Saturday afternoon full of dress-up fun in costumes with family friendly dance tunes. Local DJ's Tinhead, Wyatt Agard, Niki Kitz, Lovecraft, JP Blanchet, Ucarri Maze and Maura will all keep the dancefloor buzzing through the two days (and nights).
After-parties at High Noon Saloon keep the party going late into the night with extended sets by Mark Farina (Friday) and Derrick Carter (Saturday).
In support of La Fete de Marquette’s commitment to the neighborhood, any profits from Musique Electronique are donated back to the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center.
