Reboot your dancefloor drive courtesy of some of the world’s most promising house and techno producers, as Roland drum machines, vintage synths, sizzling hi-hats and starbursts of melody collide like an otherworldly meteor shower.
RBMA participants performing include Palms Trax, who’s gotten nothing but love since his scintillating debut last year on the vinyl-only Lobster Theremin label; and Xosar, whose dappled, mystical ghost house outings on labels like Rush Hour, M-Division, L.I.E.S. and Crème Organization mark her as a producer to watch (see also her project with Legowelt, Xamiga). Meanwhile Norway’s Olefonken will bring a touch of Nordic disco, Paris’s La Mverte will delve into his rugged and retro blend of Italo, industrial and new wave, and Chilean Cómeme artist Alejandro Paz will throw down his trademark thumping house tinged with kwaito and cumbia elements.
