September brings the final chapter of our Berlin Summer Trilogy, and we're thrilled to welcome a John Roberts live show, the Chicago sensation Amir Alexander and Future Times' Jay Simon to Chalet.
Spinning since '93 and producing since '98 Amir Alexander has the Chicago pedigree running deep through him. Tonight he's playing less of the music you would commonly associate with him though, having asked us in advance if he's cool to play a more stripped back minimal set. We can't wait to hear him close this baby out!
John Roberts played for us in Mint Club back in 2011 soon after his critically acclaimed Glass Eights album dropped. Now 3 years on and with a fresh batch of ultra deep and melancholic material behind him, he returns to the Louche wheels.
And last but not least Jay Simon, the owner of impressive new label Must Have, responsible for breaking Seven Davis Jnr on to the game earlier this year. As well as being a top taste maker he's no slouch in the studio; his first release was on Wild Oats, his next is soon to come on the one and only Future Times.
