Late 90's pop sensation Backstreet Boys did not go silently and so it seems neither will post-modern performance artist and provocateur Mr. Richard Face (pronounced, Re-card Far-chey). For the un-initiated his presence can be loosely described as like being interrupted halfway through your favorite doctored reality Hollywood presentation with extreme and horrific spontaneous mental imagery of entrepreneur and publicity stunt genius Dick Smith, frolicking naked, hand in hand with former Prime Minister and avid power walker John Howard on the pristine lawns of Canberra's glorious supreme national command centre, both draped in the flag that many of us pray nightly for the opportunity to shed blood for in the sands of the middle east. One could speculate that these were the very images that broke Mr. Richard Face in the first place and drove him deep into a world of deprivation which then led to a world of salvation and that salvation became the art that became the embodiment of the new info/disinfo movement otherwise known as the ubergrunde. To even begin a preliminary analysis of what Mr. Richard Face is constructing here would take a sprawling network of Life Education vans packed with social researchers and chimps approximately 5 years or so, so that should give some indication of the intellectual and conceptual dimensions being negotiated here. While some may denounce this man as just another disruptive opportunist, others seem to cling to him as the Gandhi of a nascent PC resistance movement, ready to explode on Richards's command. Whether cognizant of the fact or not, Richard is deep in brutal warfare and he needs all the support he can get.
