Ataxia is a Detroit born and based dance music duo poised to leave their thumbprint on the world with a powerful brand of house and techno. Its members, Ted Krisko and Eric Hanna, have been in relentless pursuit of living and breathing the music and life they love.
Recently signed to Culprit Records, the Detroit boys will see their debut EP released with the US imprint in May. The record features appearances by their friends Clarian from Footprintz, as well as Mobilee darling Cari Golden. The EP is laced with dreamy psychedelic house, incorporating lush harmonies and overtones throughout. To round things out, the remix package will feature some of the most sought after artists in dance music today.
Ataxia’s energetic live performances have taken them in front of audiences at Movement Electronic Music Festival (2011), Electric Forest/Rothbury (2012), The BPM Festival (2013), Winter Music Conference (2010, 2011, 2012) as well as consistently DJing at their residency and home, TV Lounge in Detroit. The pair also frequently performs at the classic city hotspot, The Old Miami.
