Darren Emerson Darren Emerson is one of the most influential figures in dance music, with a 20+ year career that has seen him work with everyone from Depeche Mode to Jamie Cullum. His success is evident in the numerous million-selling hit albums and singles he has been a part of and his stunning DJ skills. When he turned 18, Karl Hyde invited him to become the third member of techno band Underworld. 1993's “dubnobasswithmyheadman” was their commercial breakthrough onto the then burgeoning British electronica scene. While working on their second album, 1996's Second Toughest in the Infants, they released the single "Born Slippy", which was an instant hit following its inclusion on the soundtrack to the movie, Trainspotting. During his time with Underworld, the band released three albums and sold over a million albums world wide. 2010 saw Darren launch his own label “Detone” which has been been a real success with release from the like of Roger Sanchez, Saytek Loco London resident Neil Browne and a host of other names. Its safe to say Darren in a musical institute in his own right and brings a level of awe in his appearances. His expertise and confidence in using hardware to create totally original tracks right before the audience's eyes creates the perfect blend of entertainment and unpredictability. Years of experience in the clubs of England's capital city, both as a performer and a partygoer, have informed his output and fuelled a recording career that has lasted over 10 years. He built his name at one of London's most legendary contemporary clubs, The End, alongside regular stints with Ibiza's seminal Zoo Project. In the last year alone he's had releases with some of the industry's most respected labels such as My Favorite Robot, Soma, Monique Musique, Lucid Flow, Love Not Money and Wiggle to name but a few. Keen supporters of his music include Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Steve Lawler, Claude Von Stroke, DJ Sneak, Dubfire, Derrick May, Laurent Garnier and Nic Fanciulli. Having signed to Darren Emerson's (Underworld) label Detone as well as Mihalis Safras' Playmobil his reputation goes from strength to strength as his records to continue to get plays from from some of the most respected DJ's in the world A firm favourite from some LoCo party goers and you can see why when he has also just been booked to play at John Digweeds next Bedrock event alongside Pig & Dan and Josh Wink. Will James Will James is an exciting new talent, steadily making an imprint on the underground party scene. Hailing from Reading, but now based in North London, he was introduced to an an eclectic range of music at a young age. At 13 he got his first set of turntables and a mixer. Armed with his new setup and an ever expanding vinyl collection, he taught himself to mix. Initially heavily influenced by UK garage, visits to now defunct London clubs such as Turnmills, and nights out on the London club scene galvanised Will’s love for techno and underground house, a relationship which was to be cemented by annual trips to Ibiza. In addition to his djing, Will James is making the natural progression to production. Not content with spinning others’ records, he is now moving into the studio with new material currently under production - so watch this space! 2014 has been a busy year for Will James. It's fair to say he's finishing the year in a big way, and with 2015 just around the corner - there are even bigger things ahead! Alan Banjo New resident on the LoCo team hailing from across the waters in Italy. This man is exciting, passionate and has a firm grip on the music world when it comes to his productions. With 4 tracks in a row reaching the Beatport Techno charts top 10 and tracks being played by the likes of Carl Cox on a regular basis also one with gigs alongside names like Guy Gerber and Timo Maas...Alan Banjo is a name you will be seeing & hearing more of. Intro Groove & MGL will be also be in attendance on the night. Two acts who just know how to work a floor!
