RISE is a monthly Sunday brunch party located in a Midtown venue that caters to a crowd as diverse as New York City itself. Across from Bryant Park at Croton Reservoir Tavern, we’ve transformed their renovated “Cellar Room” into a feast for the senses. With its intimate size, sexy lighting, rich yet modest menu, and rotating roster of guest DJ’s transforming it from a trendy brunch to a sheik day party worth telling a friend about. RISE easily becomes the city’s front runner for “Best New York City Brunch Party”.

This month we're back again for our second installment of Rise but, this time we're putting the icing on Halloween weekend with a "Dia de Los Muertos" party with special guest DJ's Nelly Jay and Cleveland Skyers.
Nelly Jay
Nelly Jay's ear for music developed at an early age. This natural drive along with the ability to turn people on to unfamiliar sounds with his unique taste and style made him destined to do something notable with music in time to come. With early influences derived from hip-hop, exposure to the rave and club scene and a keen interest in Chicago house Nelly's passion for house music was set in motion. Staying true to his roots Nelly often brings elements of hip-hop into his bass heavy sets while turning out cutting edge percussive tech-house beats. Nelly Jay has been involved with Pure Gonzo from the start as a "musical advisor" when he played a role in keeping the rest of the crew up to date with the latest and most hard to find gems. Recently Nelly has helped to open the doors of the new Pure Gonzo studio where he plays an intricate part as the studio director. This studio also doubles as a community project youth program where teenagers are given the opportunity to learn all aspects of making music. Nelly has already rocked the floors of some of NYC's hottest nightclubs.
Cleveland Skyers For those of us who partied in the late 90's to early 2000's you know Cleveland Skyers needs no introduction.
Cleveland held a residency in the Basement room at Soundfactory between 1996 - 2003. His range and knowledge of House Music brought a change from the Hard House sounds of the main floor where purists and dancers would flock for a more Soulful/ Tribal escape.
Rob Vigo aka Vigostar was born and raised in New York City Rob Vigo aka Vigostar spent his early years immersed in the club scene until about a decade ago he made a decision to begin producing music. It was not until about two years ago that his journey went full circle and is now entertaining crowds at venues throughout New York City. With influences coming by way of Deep Dish, Danny Teneglia and Victor Calderone he fuses music together creating a fantastical journey that erupts into a nitrous fueled techno machine.
Although it is not necessary to make a reservation in order to enjoy the festivities we highly suggest doing so as we are limited to 50 total reservations.
