After a few months break from international guests down Lunar Disko way, we return this coming October 4th to present a Live performance from an outstanding producer, Raiders of the Lost Arp.
Originally hailing from Roma, Italy, Raiders of the Lost Arp aka Mario Pierro now lives in the tropical climate of Uppsala, Sweden...although he is very much still digitally and physically connected with the Roma sound he has forged with Marco Passarani and Francisco.
Raiders of the Lost Arp's live show is a fusion of Italo,Chicago, and Detroit sounds,which features a combination of vintage analogue synths, drum machines and a laptop. His live show has been performed in numerous top european clubs including Fabric, London, aswell as the Detroit Fuse-In festival in 2006. His live set which Mario has been busy perfecting over the past few years features improvised tracks built on-the-fly as well as excerpts from already released tracks.
We have been fan of this guy for years now, and we are delighted to finally get him down to rock the first Lunar Disko in The (new!) Underground this coming October 4th....dont sleep on this one!
