Mike Dehnert 은 매우 무겁지만 펑키한 테크노를 좋아하는 추종자들에게 열렬한 지지를 받고 있는 그의 레이블 Fachwerk 와 함께 현재 베를린을 기점으로 왕성한 활동을 하고 있다. 프로듀서로써 지난 몇장의 정규앨범을 통해 stripped techno 부터 acid, deep, dirty house 그리고 묘한 매력을 지닌 사운드 디자인을 통해 그만의 음악 스타일을 선보였으며, 클럽에서의 라이브 세트를 통해 그만의 색깔이 담겨져 있는 퍼포먼스를 보여주고 있다. 진정한 테크노 매니아들과 추종자들의 존경을 받으며 Mike Dehnert 만의 정제되지 않은듯 거칠지만 진실된 사운드는 그를 오늘날 테크노씬의 탑 아티스트 반열에 오르게 했다.
2007년부터 Mike Dehnert 이 운영해오고 있는 Fachwerk 레이블의 지향점은 매우 단순하다. 클럽현장에서의 생동감있는 라이브를 녹음하여 음반으로 발매하는 것인데, 이미 15군데 이상의 장소에서 녹음, 발매하였으며 이는 소문을 통해 전세계의 테크노 매니아들과 팬들 사이에서 전폭적인 지지를 받고 있다. 클럽 Berghain 과 Tresor 에서 녹음한 라이브 테크노 세트로 유명한 Mike Dehnert 의 음악들은 Clone Basement Series, Echochord Colour and Deeply Rooted House, Delsin 등의 유명 테크노 레이블들에서도 발매되어 오고있다.
Having established his Fachwerk label as a go-to imprint for heavyweight but funky techno, Berlin abased Mike Dehnert has begun stretched his legs in recent times.
