  • Thomas Grün Biografie Thomas Grün, born in 1981 in Carinthia / Austria, discovered his fascination for music when he was a child. Starting with Pop, Rock, New Wave, and Dance, he was influenced by artists like Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunderson, and also Laurent Garnier and Sven Väth whose music made him switch his style to Techno and House. In 1997, he moved to Vienna and put an ambitious emphasis on his Dj-ing. In the following years he got several bookings both throughout Austria and abroad (Love Parade, Unite Parade, Collosseum Opatia etc.). Since 2005, Thomas is member of the artists’ network Movimiento, which presented artists like Sebo K, Vincenzo and Booka Shade in Vienna’s Roxy Club and the Flex Club. In 2007 Thomas Grün, Aleks Gavric and Philipp Blecha founded the platform CMYK, which successfully established the monthly Club Pompadour at the Camera Club. The Party became the hottest and most popular in town, and Thomas provided warm-ups and closings for artists, such as Tobi Neumann, Guido Schneider, Dj T., and Steve Bug. His style can be defined as very groovy kind of deep-and tech-house. Because of that and his always flowing sets Thomas is often called „Mr.Groove“. Fabian Foehn Whether in the liberating expanses of a sunny Berlin open air or in the most intimate settings of their ridiculously long after-hours, the lovingly crafted brand of organically deep and infectiously shoulder-shaking house music that Foehn and Jerome have made their own has an unrelenting tendency to hit the proverbial spot. Both hailing from the state of Carinthia in southern Austria, the dynamic duo of Fabian Foehn and Christopher Jerome initially began their love affair with the intricate rhythms of the deeper side of electronic music separately. A chance encounter in the early hours of one night in December 2010 gave rise to the DJ/Producer team that has since been providing the vibes on many a dancefloor - with a chemistry and understanding that might lead you to suspect that they were in fact separated at birth. Based in Berlin since being seduced by all that the city has to offer in early 2011, Foehn and Jerome continue to go from strength to strength. April 2011 marked their first contact with Berlin's “symbiont music” label, who soon took them on board and oversaw their acclaimed remix on Fuchsberg's “Checkpoint EP” in October 2012. They have also been residents at Vienna's infamous “Grelle Forelle” nightclub since its opening in December 2011. Their monthly “Cafe Sturz” parties at the club have acquired somewhat legendary status as evenings of unbridled debauchery (the colloquial Austrian term “Sturz” can be translated as “mashed”/ “buzzing”/ “spangled” or anything else pertaining to general intoxication) but more importantly for top quality music. Now based at the Berlin/Hamburg label "FormResonance" which was founded by Florian Schirmacher they two are waiting for their first vinyl release to come out. The undying dedication, passion, and commitment that these “gentlemen reprobates” have for their craft is hard not to sense when seeing them play. Whether you've caught their refined and rolling sound at festivals like Burning Man, Urban Art Forms or Plötzlich am Bodden, or at a number of clubs and venues like Club der Visionaere, Arma 17 or Grelle Forelle, you'll have found that it does what all good electronic music is supposed to do: get you moving. And you can rest assured that it will continue to do so for many years to come.
