Eventually saving up enough for a bass guitar at age sixteen, and later on the drums, Oliver was soon playing in bands in the D.C. and Virginia area. It wasn't until 1999 that he fell in love with electronic music and never looked back. By 2003 he had purchased turntables, practiced relentlessly, and began to play out at various venues in the D.C./VA area. After moving to South Beach in 2004 and gaining exposure to Miami's underground Dirty House and Tech scene, Oliver soon began spinning at numerous clubs and afterparties in Miami, VA, and D.C., perfecting his signature blend of dark, underground, House and Techno. Today, Oliver Caine resides in Virginia, is a regular in the D.C. and NYC club circuits, and continues to perform across the United States and abroad. With notable gigs and stellar performances at Coco Maya during the BPM festival in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico; and in Detroit at Bookies during the famed DEMF festival, Oliver’s momentum and fan base continue to grow, playing along side such greats as Joseph Capriati, Victor Calderone, Marc Houle, Timo Maas, and countless others. Other recent activity includes being selected as featured artist on the Underground Movement Show(UMS) with a live webcast and interview on ElectronicRhythm.com, guest DJ spotlight and mix on Clubbers Guide New York(CGNY), a podcast and interview for feedtheraver.com, continuing residency at Frequency Radio show for WRIR radio, a slew of other podcasts and gigs around the U.S. and abroad. Always adapting to his environment and the mood of the party, Oliver is comfortable spinning deep and minimal sounds in small lounges, or banging out big room Techno in the largest super-clubs. http://soundcloud.com/olivercaine/ http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/olivercaine http://www.facebook.com/OLIVERCAINE https://twitter.com/OliverCaine http://dj.beatport.com/oliver-caine https://plus.google.com/107337587344684113575/posts http://www.hidden-recordings.com SIMON PATTEE (SLEAZE, COMPOSITE | DC) Headquartered in Washington D.C., as a DJ, Simon has been spotted in publications such as URB, BPM, Mixer, Bigshot, Parade, K48, Music Monthly, Fashion Wire Daily, Skrufff, Ministry of Sound Radio and The Village Voice and he has performed at many premiere venues across the Americas & parts of Europe. As a recording engineer, he has served some very successful artists and record labels, including Grammy winning and Grammy nominated dance music producers. Starting his way from the ground up, Simon started working as a street rep for Ovum Recordings, Moonshine & Mixer Magazine. In 1999 he was picked up by his first agency and began to bud a healthy Dj schedule. Drawing a never ending inspiration from House, Techno, Italo and New Wave, Simon became noted as one of the pioneers of Electroclash. His small 'Sleaze' event's in Washington which focused on the movement exploded with national notoriety & in 2003 he caught the ear of Rave Icon's Scott Henry & John Tab, gaining residency at America's most legendary club night, Buzz. Simon was also the host of 'Redux', the only nationally broadcast radio show focusing on 'Electroclash' on XM Radio's 'The Move' (nominated for Dance Star awards in 2004 & 2005). Residents included Tommie Sunshine, Larry Tee, John B & DJ Unknown. Every week for nearly 5 years over 350,000 people tuned in to hear their futuristic retro funk and interviews. Electroclash was declared by The Guardian one of the two most significant upheavals in recent dance music history, and while the term for the movement has faded, the musical influences it brought to the table have not, rather they have spread across everything you hear today under an assortment of new aliases. Simon continues to push a very diverse yet very distinct sound, incorporating any number of genres to create his own. His studio work and impeccable 3 turntable sets are always packed with fresh thoughts for forward thinkers and future classics. https://soundcloud.com/simonpattee https://soundcloud.com/sinestro/simon-composite-podcast-5-20-2014 http://www.mixcloud.com/djsimondc/ministry-of-sound-radio-skrufff-show-2006/ http://djsimon.us STEVE KIRN (ELECTRIC HAZE | DC/BALTIMORE) https://www.facebook.com/pages/DJ-Steve-Kirn/149143118472943?ref=tn_tnmn https://soundcloud.com/steven-kirn http://www.mixcloud.com/kirnie/
