Following the success of 2014, LAMP returns to the west side to celebrate their 2 Year Anniversary at the popular LA dance venue V Lounge. Label founders MR PUZL and PZB are excited to announce a stacked lineup of local acts including Graff, Templeton, Sleepy Cat, Das Tapes, and Brooks & Millar plus sets from LAMP Roster members PZB, MR PUZL, Jeff Devoe, DJSB and other special guests.
2014 marked a big year for the Los Angeles Music Project with the signings of rising talent Templeton and Sleepy Cat. They also championed a series of releases for the 2 young producers as well the massive tune ‘Big Daddy’ from roster members Brooks & Millar on the world renowned Do Androids Dance with a follow up release to come on bass label Perfect Driver in early 2015.
The year also marked the first installment of their Weekly Mix series, a massive undertaking featuring a staggering 51 mixes in total spanning hundreds of tracks with limited repeat. The series also opened it’s studio to guests featuring the likes of Atlas Boda, Wilks, Shark Faicol, Death House of Love, William Blake, Disco is 4 Dancing, and many more. 2015 promises to see this trend continue including more artists from the international stage.
January 16, 2015 kicks off at 9:00pm at V Lounge with 2 rooms full of a diverse collection of sound ranging from Deep House to jacking Bass. This will be a showcase of LAMP’s talent and the partnerships they have established over the years in the Los Angeles underground music scene. Bring an extra pair of dancing shoes and prepare for a long night of music performances from LA’s up and coming talent.
