The Uncle Jack team is back in Scotland and this time are bringing along special guest DJ S.K.T on Friday the 13th of March at Word up, Greenock!!!
Uncle Jack has hosted parties in Brazil, London, & Glasgow featuring artists such as LouLou Players, HOSTAGE, Chad Tyson and Tapesh.
This time we will be hitting Word Up for the first time with DJ / Producer and Label Owner DJ S.K.T! Having remixed Oliver Heldens, Wilkinson, Clean Bandit & Jess Glynn, Phillip George, plus gaining support from the likes of MK, Pete Tong and Fedde Le Grand, he is one of the top UK artists on the scene right now!
Joining S.K.T we have Uncle Jack's very own DADO PRISCO, straight from Brazil as part of his 2nd European tour in just 6 months. Having gained support from artists such as Amine Edge & Dance, MYNC, Kolombo, Grades, DJ Pioneer and Purple Disco Machine, Dado has broken onto the scene as one of the hottest up and comers!
If that's not enough we welcome Lakester, host of the essential deep house show on Groove City Radio and local regulars Lewis Casement & Paul Currie!
DJ S.K.T
It's been a crazy 2014 for DJ & Producer S.K.T, with gigs all over the UK and Europe last summer. He has already achieved a UK top 60 in the national charts independently via his label Up-Tempo records and a top 40 with his collaboration with Little Nikki 'Right before my eyes' via Sony which received huge international support from DJs including MK, Amine Edge & Dance, Fredde Le Grand, Sam Divine, Steve Smart, Mistajam, DJ EZ & DJ Target to name a few.
Touted as the 'go to guy' by majors looking for credible remixes, he has remixed the no 1 single by Oliver Heldens & Becky Hill - Gecko/Overdrive which was widely received and supported by Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Danny Howard, B Traits, DJ Target, DJ Cameo, Steve Smart and many more. Forthcoming remixes include Wilkinson's single 'Dirty Love' feat Talay Riley for Virgin/EMI and Becky Hill's debut single 'Caution to the wind' on FFRR/Parlophone. His remix of 'Nightcrawlers Vs DJ S.K.T - Push the feeling' has also just been signed to Ministry of Sound due for release later this year.
With guest mixes for BBC 1xtra and Kiss 100 already under his belt plus a headline gig at Ministry of Sound, DJ S.K.T drops his brand new track 'Shoulda let you go', a groovy bass driven track laced with lush, moody pitched down vocals, ideal for both radio and club.
Currently collaborating with a number of high profile artists, singers and songwriters on original material for his forthcoming album plus a new EP for 2015 already in the pipeline, there seems to be no stopping this young DJ & Producer from North London.

Dado Prisco
Making music has to be done as a complete form, not only one genre, one style or with only one way of making it. This is the foundation on which Dado Prisco has launched his musical career.
Born on the island of Florianópolis, Brasil, where the summer months feel as though as Ibiza has found a holiday home, hosting clubs like P12, PACHA and WARUNG as well as the biggest DJs the world has to offer. It’s understandable that Dado knew from a young age his future would be focused around music.
Early support came from the LouLou Records family with both Kolombo and LouLou Players releasing tracks on their compilations. This was followed by a debut EP release on German label, Kiez Beats, which included a remix from Russian producers, Andrey Exx & Hot Hotels. The EP gained great support from Anime Edge, Purple Disco Machine, Teenage Mutants, Vanilla Ace, Dayne S and Animal Trainer. In the summer of 2014 Dado Prisco, alongside his friend Bruno Be, remixed Sharam Jey’s track ‘Like Nobody Does’ which was released on Bunny Tiger and reached #26 on Beatport´s Indie Dance / Nu Disco chart.
Lately Dado has been gaining support from the likes of MYNC, Grades, DJ Pioneer, and Elekfantz, with releases lined up for early 2015 on Kiez Beats and House of Hustle. He also hosted a guest mix for Kiss Fresh as part of their Mix Block series.
Besides producing, Dado has built his party label, Uncle Jack, hosting artists such as LouLou Players and Tapesh in Brazil. As well as ventures in Glasgow featuring Hostage, and a London showcase of Belgian label Insane (Heartlybeats / Chad Tyson), Miami Sessions (Rod B / Blackbirdz), and Point Blank Music School.
