Jeff Mills. Secret Special Guest. KiNK Live. Radio Slave. James Ruskin. Makam. Steve O’Sullivan Live. The Persuader. Markus Suckut. Evan Baggs. Yagya Live. Fritz Zander. And there you have the makings of Oval Space’s first ever 24h party.
Newly announced are Dekmantel resident and former Trouw resident Makam, MOSAIC label boss and Sushitech regular Steve O’Sullivan Live and Jesper Dahlbäck aka The Persuader. An elusive artist who only plays a few times a year around the world, this is a rare treat from the Swedish producer. Rounding up the bill for this landmark party are Markus Suckut and Evan Baggs.
This May, join us as we go to a place we’ve never gone before. We'll be throwing our doors open for a non-stop, no holds barred full 24 hours from 23.59 on May 1st through till 23.59 on May 2nd.
Seeing as its the first party of its kind here at Oval Space, we figured we had better put together a pretty special line up. Leading the way is a man that needs little introduction, Jeff Mills. Indisputably one of the biggest names in techno, he has remained one of the genre’s most important and groundbreaking leaders throughout his prolific musical career spanning 25 years. He’ll be playing an extended 3 hour set.
Joining Mills on the day will be a very special secret guest. A firm favourite and friend of ours, our guest is one of the world’s top DJs, producers and now label owners, having launched a label last year.
Also confirmed is Bulgarian producer KiNK, whose 2014 album Under Destruction received critical acclaim across the board and cemented his position as a true hardware and live performance pro. He’ll be playing a special extended 3 hour live set alongside Rekids founder and Oval Space regular Matt Edwards aka Radio Slave, who will also play for three hours.
Hailing from closer to home is James Ruskin who has been described as being ‘interwoven into the fabric of British techno’. Indeed, as founder of the celebrated Blueprint Records Ruskin is responsible for a vast quantity of the UK’s techno output over the last decade. Rounding up the line up are Icelandic producer Yagya, described by FACT as ‘one of techno’s best-kept secrets’ and Berlin’s Fritz Zander.
Remember kids, it’s a marathon not a sprint.
We’ll be laying on a range of delicious food options throughout the event as well as coffee and cocktails to keep everyone suitably hydrated and fed.
Re-admission will be permitted for pre-sales tickets and £27.50 door tickets, Tickets purchased after 9am do not allow re-entry. Our normal door policy applies to everyone, whatever time you're entering.
Please note, ticket sales on the door will be subject to our capacity inside the venue at all times with priority given to ticket holders as you would expect. To avoid queues we advise coming at non peak times and enjoy all the fantastic artists we have playing throughout the show.
Oval Space door policy will be in place as usual, where entry is refused to ticket holders a full refund (minus booking fee) can be obtained subsequent to the event.
