SUBMIT are back at the Bussey Building / CLF Art Cafe for another 2nd Floor 2-Room special. Ossie headlines a Main Room dedicated to low-frequency leaning, soulful House with bits and pieces of Techno, Garage & more - 4 Kicks placed firmly to the floor all night long. Main Room support comes from iO Sounds, Edmondson & FYI Chris. Our back room line-up sees HNKY KNG take charge with guests Ness, Jamie Simkin & Holloway plus residents Ciro Leone & Alex Crescent playing whatever the hell they want for a kaleidoscopic mix of Bass heavy music.

Ossie
Headlining is Hyperdub, 2020 Vision & Wolf Music veteran Ossie. First rising up with the UK Funky scene and now focused on making ‘Housey Stuff’, Ossie’s productions are always on-point - heavy duty club constructions with infectiously danceable drumwork, layered with synths, strings & basslines and delivered with style and soul. His latest EP ‘The Buzz / Calling on You’ is seeing support from Mistajam, Giles Peterson, Clash mag and more and it joins an already impressive list of releases, including SUBMIT faves ‘Love Crazy’ & ‘Ugly Observation’.
As a DJ Ossie is on a relentless mission to make you move, just check his Boiler Room set for 42 minutes of relentless hip wiggling. He made a big impression last time he joined SUBMIT for our Official Basement Jaxx afterparty in late 2013, don't miss him moving the dancefloor this May.
iO Sounds
Tipped by Mixmag as ‘one to watch’ iO Sounds’ output spans the stomping ‘Move Me’ (on Coco Cole’s Say Yes Vol. 1) and the Lo-Fi, subloaded goodness of ‘C’mon People’ (2020 Vision). iO’s debut 12’s for Kerri Chandler’s Madtech & Madhouse records announced his presence on the UK underground. Cementing his place with each record since, we’re looking forward to what comes next; first up is a killer House/Techno EP for 2020 Vision that we can’t wait for you to hear.
FYI Chris
Based in Peckham’s Rye Wax this double team helps provide hardcore vinyl junkies their fix week in week out. As well as being blessed with impeccable taste and selection skills they’re also exceptionally talented producers - their debut release ‘No Hurry / Juliette’ on Church was previewed by Boiler Room and received a solid 3.8/5 from Resident Advisor. Not bad for starters, and due out next is an EP on Bradley Zero’s much loved Rhythm Section. It looks like FYI Chris are just hitting their stride, and at this pace it looks like they’ll be going quite far.
Edmondson
Newcastle born but now in the South London locality Edmondson makes eclectic, textured music ranging from percussion-heavy techno, house and garage influenced shuffles through to hazy disco & hip hop tinged edits.
Having released on Electro Magnetic Fields (big up Indigo & Synkro) & Hypercolour his most recent output is via local imprint Lissoms and is seeing support form the likes of Pete Tong, Skream & Akkord.

Long time SUBMIT associate HNKY KNG brings onboard some talented young guns - NESS, Jamie Simkin & Holloway - for an intimate Room 2 rinse-out. Prepare for an eclectic / anything goes music policy while the House & Techno arsenal continues to fire in Room 1. Rounding up Room 2 are residents Ciro Leone (Four Fingers Hand) & Alex Crescent (Crescent/Voyager)
