Utrecht based community “ShowKaas” started out as a feedback group for deejays/producers/vj’s and other creative music-lovers, to share knowledge, inspire, help and connect. The ShowKaas Group is a place where producers and dj’s receive music and creation related news and tips, discuss current events and receive quality feedback on tracks and sets. Same goes for their various network gatherings and educational events in the physical world. The crew consists of six experienced musicians; they produce, dj, perform live, and like to share their insights, inspiration and knowledge.
Innovative, creative and versatile - that's what techno is supposed to be according to the ShowKaas crew. Based on this vision they decided to bound their experiences to build a cooperative live techno concept; “Symbiotic Sessions”.
In november 2014 the first edition launched at ACU Utrecht.
The feedback of the audience and professionals from the music industry confirmed they were on the right track. With weekly jams and practice sessions they perfected the concept and worked out different methods, techniques and types of sets in variable formations.
Now they are ready for the next demonstration; With cases full of gear they will to take you on an energetic trip from melodic, groovy to dark and hard atmospheric techno, combined with awesome lights and visuals.
On-stage: Synthesizers, Drum Machines, Bass Guitars, Mixers, Sound Modulators, MIDI Controllers, Vocoders, Turntables and more.
