Dance From Above, Greensboro's top alternative dance music series, is presenting Luke Jenner, best known as the frontman for DFA Records artists The Rapture, as our featured artist this month.
Since The Rapture went on hiatus, Jenner has expanded his reach with a number of other projects. Most recently he's donned a cowboy hat alongside David Byrne, Dev Hynes, Money Mark and others to pay tribute to William Onyeabor as a vocalist for the Atomic Bomb! Band, and is also at work on a solo record with French nu-disco producer Joakim.
On April 30, he is stepping behind the decks for a DJ set at our monthly event at The Crown at the Carolina Theatre in Greensboro. It's going to be a fun, fun time. See you there..
