You never know exactly what you’re going to hear with Jackmaster. The element of glorious surprise is crucial to his sets: from the lost Dance Mania gems he spends his time unearthing to forgotten Disco tracks to straight-up house and techno sets, the Numbers co-founder has more options up his sleeve than just about any other DJ out there – and a rare knack for connecting seemingly disparate styles with each other. “I don’t do eclecticism just for eclecticism’s sake,” he states firmly. What you are guaranteed to get is a master selector’s instinct for creating and riding the energy of a crowd: few can get a dancefloor as hyped as Jackmaster. “I don’t think about music in terms of genre, I think about it in terms of energy levels,” he says – and as his star has risen over the past few years, this has been on perfect display at parties from Glasgow to Berlin to New York, and from superclubs such as Berghain and Fabric to legendary underground warehouse parties.

• BRAWTHER [FR – My Love Is Underground]
Born in Paris, now living in Leeds and raised on house – that's just about all Brawther wants to tell you. You'll have to glean anything else you need to know from his music. So far it has been only selectively released into the wider world, but on esteemed labels like secretsundaze and My Love Is Underground. It varies from pad-laced daydreams to tough edged 4/4 beats, always displaying such true school ideals. Brawther is also the man behind record label and production partnership Dungeon Meat, a like-minded collaboration with Tristan da Cunha. Very much prising quality over quantity, Brawther knows just when to release his records into the wider world. When he does, it seems the world takes note.

• INNER SENSE [FR – My Love Is Underground]
Inner Sense was originally created as a duo in the mid 90's. After a while, Henri started working solo on some tracks : The First Vibe EP was released on 9T's Records and later licensed by Italian Harley & Muscle. Then, he met Brawther and Jeremy (Underground Paris) thanks to an internet forum and became close friends. He kept on doing stuff by himself and The Second Vibe EP was released on My Love Is Underground Records. Since then, he’s played in various MLIU parties and is trying to keep the original garage spirit alive: mixing a blend of vocal, deep and more tracky tunes.

• LOCKLEAD [NL – Unknown To The Unknown]
Locklead also known as Wesley Endeman is a 25-year-old house music producer and DJ based in the city of Utrecht. Just recently he competed in the King of the Beat battle together with 40 other producers. In 1 hour he created with a limited sample pack the winning beat. He was unanimous chosen by highly respected names in the scene. The judges were Benny Rodrigues, Gerd and Serge the owner from Clone Records Rotterdam.For the near future you can expect releases on labels like Unknown to the Unknown, Midnight Love Club, Soulfood and Slapfunk Records.
