Hidden from the hustle and bustle of big cities, the site of the festival is simply unique and rather exceptional. The heart of the north- eastern Poland which is notable for its unchanged, placid landscapes, wilderness and deep forests every year transforms into the electronic music mecca, attracting up to 8000 attendees during the weekend, gathered in the post military warehouse area and Bialystok’s magnificent Opera house. Up To Date Festival presents stages with different music genres ranging from ambitious rap through bass music, techno to ambient and modern classical. Created by the local music activists who, every year, are putting an enormous effort to make the site an art space itself. Young art exhibitions, performances, alternative cinema and surprising stage design of stages are mainly a blip in the key visual of the festival, having hosted such artist as:
