With a career spanning over a decade, Shur-i-kan is undoubtably one of the heavy hitters of the deep house world. An accomplished keyboardist and part-time member of dance improvisional supergroup The Bays, Shur-i-kan's distinctive productions ooze musicality and emotion that has captured the hearts of his many admirers. The fact he was awarded 3rd spot in Traxsource's top deep house artists of 2014 shows his music is as relevant now as when his critically acclaimed debut album Advance was launched on Freerange Records. Since then his tracks and remixes have been constantly in demand by top dance labels such as Anjunadeep, Simple, Systematic, Z Records, Defected and Lazy Days to name a few.
He is supported by Tim Andresen. He is the founder of the record label What Happens and also co-runs the UK-based Savoir Faire Musique. His production portfolio includes recent work signed for Re:FreshYourMind, Natural Rhythm, UM Records, Ready Mix Records, DeepWit Recordings and of course his own What Happens and Savoir Faire Musique imprints. His global success as a producer has given further rise to his profile as a DJ and seen him perform in more than 35 different countries across Europe, Asia and South America. At home ground he is our high profile resident DJ with a legendary ongoing residency since 2005. His skills haven’t gone unnoticed and the level of his DJing resulted in him landing the “Best DJ” award at Club Awards and “Most Popular Nordic DJ” award by Megamind.
As always, The Golden Hour is on from 11pm till midnight with free Tuborg Gold included in the entry. The official preparty is in our White Box with James Moor, DEER and Velàri gracing the decks from 9pm onwards.
