This year Tesla adds an own presentation to Budapest Essentials Festival’s already brilliant lineup; a night that’ll serve as fitting closure to a somewhat busy Spring season in the former transformer building.
It’s the first time that San Franciscan Brendan Angelides (better known as Eskmo) plays on Tesla’s famed PA system, and since the magic of his music lies in the small details, the acoustic playfulness and the nuanced sound design, the mighty Void Audio speakers will serve as the perfect medium in Budapest so far to channel the concert in all its mind-boggling glory.
The show is based on „SOL”, Angelides’ new album fresh out on Apollo Records. The lush, organic-sounding LP features singing and live instruments as well as the unique sound we all came to love. Like his previous material, it’s still the same relaxed, positive electronic funk – something we’ll have the chance to hear come alive ont he stage this time.
The concert will be supported by Gelka – Hungary’s first act to be featured on José Padilla’s Café Del Mar compilations, and led into the morning hours by Monkey6’s Bergi, one of the most qualified DJs in town when it comes to smart, fresh house music.
