To all friends, dancers, daydreamers and children of delights,
Summer spread its sweet wings over Berlin, and once again we embarked on a mission to charm Berlin with the 5th edition of Luft & Liebe Festival. For a whole weekend Ipse and Birgit & Bier will band together, and the entire area, with its many enchanted nooks and crannies directly at the waterfront, will be stage for nothing but Luft & Liebe.
Three days and two nights, 5 dancefloors (indoors and outdoors), local and international DJs as well as live acts will present an exquisite blend of Minimal, Techno and House music, while one stage will be swinging with bands and musicians playing Jazz, Gipsy and Balkan music. The Berlin Luft & Liebe festival is a concerted effort of several initiatives, the festival up North of the same name, as well as several Berliner networks such as URSL, Zuckertuetentraum, Technotürken and Lichtpiraten.
Next to a variety of musical performances there will be artists from different fields such as design, installation, performance and visualization, transforming the space into a unique, temporary exhibition, and bringing some atmospheric magic to the entire area of Luft & Liebe.
Playful details including illuminated water cascades, soap bubbles, artful decoration, as well as pantomime and performance invite you to be carried away into another world. There will also be opportunities to get hands on creative at the make-up booth and other workshops.
Each edition of the Berliner Luft & Liebe festival has been a special delight to both guests and contributors, so this year once again we want to give wings to the summer .
