Three years on from their beginnings in Oslo, London-based FINE GRAINS RECORDS return to Norway for a label showcase ahead of the release of the ‘BLÅIS EP’ by Beatbully and Fitzroy North.
At Revolver, Hamar skweee boss BEATBULLY feat. MARIANNE STRANGER play live alongside a special guest, label founder URAKI RIDDIM and Highlander CAIN for an evening of far reaching beats. In the space of a few years, the label has picked up support from the likes of Jamie XX, DJ Shadow, Jackmaster and Hyperdub, and have had regular airplay on BBC R1 and BBC R6. Their residency at London’s Alibi club has gone from strength to strength, and 2016 is shaping up to be a big one for the label with their first artist album and further EPs from fast rising Moscovite OL, Cohoba & Cain.
