To commemorate 4 fun-filled years of general excess and late nights, we welcome back one of our favourite past guests and all-round crowdpleaser, Joy Orbison. For those of you who attended our Joy Orbison B2B Boddika show a few years back will remember scenes of utter chaos - and similarly when he was joined by Ben UFO and Levon Vincent more recently.
This time he'll be coupled with ex-Trouw resident, Job Jobse, who has built a firm reputation as a superb selector off the back of the late night duties he performed at Amsterdam's once infamous stronghold. This B2B promises to be one for the archives as we pair Joy O's penchant for an acid tip with Job Jobse's mixing flair. No doubt Job Jobse will be bringing a box of dancefloor weapons for his Newcastle debut.
Its been quite a 4 years we've enjoyed at World HQ, having welcomed the likes of Four Tet, Scuba, Dusky, Bicep, Shy FX, Midland, Jackmaster, Blawan, Kassem Mosse through our doors, amongst countless others - we feel this 2-floor party manages to perfectly capture that Audio Asylum spirit, inviting two stalwarts for another evening to remember.
