Premiere League of Underground Techno.
After longlasting cooperation and relationship WE - the Technokunst crew from Budapest and PVC (Palicavonzvreca) crew from Bratislava - are happy to announce this new big event of pure underground techno, it's called REDUCTION. We decided for this title because we like minimal/reduced techno and also we wanted to present this kind of a festival lineup in club venue, for a reasonable entrance fee.
PVC is now 15 years old label, one of the pioneers of offbeat and asymmetric techno, released tracks by Oscar Mulero, Regis, Go Hiyama, Female, Pacou, Hardcell, Reeko, Takaaki Itoh, Radial etc., and of course also by local producers Loktibrada, Rumenige or Boss.
Also because of 15th anniversary we invited for this night the mastedmind of techno underground culture, his name is Karl O'Connor aka REGIS, originally from Birmingham in the UK, recently living in NYC. Think of Downwards, British Murder Boys, Sandwell District or Jealous God and we hope all is clear now.
Next we have Inigo Kennedy from London, already for many years very active and innovative producer and still on the way up. Make sure to check his latest album on Token Records called "Vaudeville", his set @ Reduction will definitely make you happy.
Takaaki Itoh will fly to Budapest straight from Japan. Many records and gigs on account, he is around already since 2000, his latest 12" on his own imprint Wols is out on October2, do not miss, i'ts mega!) As for his set, expect stoned but energetic tribalism with japanese flavour at its best.
As for local DJs and residents, we will present you Loktibrada from Bratislava, a man behind Olga+Jozef, PVC and Numb projects, very precise and functional techno DJ. And from Budapest we have chosen the best of local underground scene - Isu & Dork of Technokunst. Hope to see you all there! ;) Thursday, October 22, Corvintető in Budapest, Start at 23:00.
