Inspired by his debut album of the same name, Universes at The Nest will see the likes of Funkineven, Sassy J, Marcellus Pittman, Josey Rebelle, Andrew Ashong, Reginal Omas Mamode IV, Osunlade and Tasker come together for Seven’s winter series. Featuring friends and those who have inspired him as well as a live performance from Seven himself; these four parties delve into SDJr’s past, present and future.
Detroit wizard Marcellus Pittman and Rinse regular Josey Rebelle are Seven's guests for round two of 'Universes'. Pittman first cut his teeth with a bunch of Theo Parrish co-productions released across two 12″s on Parrish’s Sound Signature label in 1999 and 2002 - his Midwestern Advocates EP Part One remains a modern classic. Josey's talents as a spinner have been showcased with her excellent weekly show on Rinse, whilst she was recently featured on Fact Magazine's list of 100 underrated DJ's. This is her time to shine with Seven.
