Three months after a decent take-off in this torrid late summer, the 2nd instalment of Retrograde at //:about blank will take place on the 26th of November.
Ahead of the young labels first release in winter, some interesting figures will be unified this evening.
One of them will be Florian Kupfer, the man who is closely affiliated with Ron Morelli’s Long Island Electrical Systems imprint. His recent releases on Technicolour and W.T. Records are again illustrating his gritty approach to the distorted lo-fi sound he has been following since his remarkable lifetrax ep. He’s going to play 3 hours for us.
Besides him the young and immensely talented German/Italian duo Terron will heat up the lobby. With two acclaimed releases on Tasker's WHITIES offshoot, the Cologne natives witness their melodic strength and hymnal claim to productions with flying colors.
Moreover we welcome former resident of Munich's Rote Sonne and Harry Klein LIZA, who freshly moved to Berlin and joined the Retrograde fam to close with vibes in the morning together with head honcho Marlon Hoffstadt.
Berlin Community Radio contributors Lola Luc and Melis will play a wide range from disco and soul to funk all night long together with our dear friend Nicolai Toma on the toilet floor, while Matteo Luis and Goldberg are going to warm up the Lobby, the usual dubby and murky way.
