After a sell out first event, OHM return to The Wedgewood Rooms to bring you something special. This time round we’re proud to present the legendary Break, alongside jungle master Randall and rising stars Gerra & Stone.
Break is known for his label Symmetry Recordings, as well as his ten year career working with the likes of Calyx & Teebee, A Sides, D-Bridge, Fierce and Calibre. He’s here to celebrate the launch of his third studio album and masterpiece, Simpler Times, with one of his epic DJ sets that will span the whole spectrum of drum and bass and will roll out harder and deeper than anything you’ve heard before.
Randall has been releasing records and slaying dancefloors since 1994, and he’s carved out a reputation as a DJ first and a producer second. An acid house convert since 1987’s Notting Hill Carnival, he became a regular fixture on pirate station Centreforce and developed close links to Goldie, Andy C and the rest of the drum and bass establishment. Mixtapes like the Renegade Selector and Jungle Renegades series became Randall’s calling cards, and he’s still releasing music on his Stepback Sessions and Mac II labels today.
Gerra & Stone made their name on the South Coast through Southampton’s long running d&b nights Release and Raygun Youth. With releases on Proximity, Dispatch and RAM Records their star is definitely on the rise and we’re looking forward to their gracing the Wedgewood Room’s decks for a journey through the dark side of drum and bass.
MC-ing at the top of the game for more than 15 years has taken GQ to all the corners of the globe, seen him achieve chart success, and even given him the opportunity to establish his very own record label 'Emcee Recordings'. He’s here to steer proceedings with his distinctive and soulful style.
