ICY TEARS

Following up the success of the first two events with CHUCK INGLISH and VENUS X,
Joyrich is proud to present the third installment in the Icy Tears series at Club Arc on November 13th.
CHUCK INGLISH、VENUS Xと共に大成功を収めた第1弾、第2弾のイベントに続き、
この度、11月13日(金) Club ARCにてJOYRICHが主催する"ICY TEARS”第3弾の開催が決定。
VISIONIST
The South London artist, born Louis Carnell, came out during a period of experimentation in UK music when,
with the disintegration of the dubstep scene, emerging producers began looking to juke and Chicago house for inspiration.
Visionist has become a leader in new-wave UK sound system culture
through his minimalist interpretation on R&B and liquid grime.
His debut album, Safe, released by PAN records on October 9th, 2015.
He expands his signature sound into a new area to make his most personal statement.
“Comfort, protection and salvation, this is what we search for.
We are taught that a life of no worries is better for us, and therefore we try to create one that is safe.” - Visionist.
サウス・ロンドン生まれのルイス・カーネルによるソロ・プロジェクト。
ダブステップの崩壊と共に訪れたUKクラブ・ミュージックの実験期へとさしかかるテン年代初頭にLeft Blankからデビュー。
ダブステップとグライムを下地にし、スクリュー・ボイスを織り交ぜたミニマリスティックなサウンド・デザインと
トラック・メイキングはたちまち話題となり、UKのLeisure System、Ramp、
そして日本からDiskotopiaやFuture BrownのJ-Cush主宰のLit City Traxから次々と作品を発表。
Kenzo、Liam Hodges、Roxanne Farahmand、Acne Studiosといったハイエンドなファッション・ブランドの音楽も制作し、
2014年にはFKA twigsのUKツアーのサポートするなど、クラブやファッションを跨ぎながら着実に注目度を高める。
また自身のレーベルLost Codesを2012年に立ち上げ、SD Laika、Filter Dread、Acreなど新鋭をリリース。
現在はPANのサブ・レーベルCodesとなって実験的なベース・ミュージックを展開。
アートや音響といったかつてないベクトルを発見し
アブストラクト化するUKサウンド・システム・カルチャーのボーダーを押し広げるUK屈指のフロンティア。
