OBLIVION HEART makes a dynamic debut in Thessaloniki, hosting two A-list artists of the techno scene on the 28th of November, for an electrified night that any original clubber would never miss out. SLAM of Soma Records and Gary Beck of BEK Audio, from Glasgow, will conquer the booth of Warehouse 8 in the Port of Thessaloniki for an explosive minimal techno party that will also include interactive performances, visual arts, a tattoo corner as well as a special in-house bazaar.
SLAM, aka Stuart McMillan & Orde Meikle, the epic duo of the electronic scene that have left scorch marks on the greatest dance floors all around the world, are coming to seamlessly take us on an underground journey of soulful electronica through to soaring intense groovy techno and techno house. SLAM, who have curated the “Slam Tent” since 1997 at Scotland’s biggest festival “T in the Park” and established monthly club events in Glasgow, ‘Pressure' at the Arches and 'Return To Mono' at the Sub Club - ranked among the best nights out on the planet – know how to excite their audience with dynamic sounds, intensity and explosive moments, proving with their position in the contemporary electronic scene.
Gary Beck visits Thessaloniki for the first time for an epic appearance. Known and respected for his unique sound, he has gained support from the best names in the business and released music on some of the genre's leading labels (institutions such as Drumcode, Cocoon and Saved as well as his own BEK Audio imprint). Since his emergence onto the scene in 2007, Beck’s career blasted off like a rocket with a numerous list of collaborations with similarly exceptional talents such as Green Velvet, Mark Broom and Speedy J., as well as with the release of his seminal debut album 'Bring a Friend' on the legendary Soma Records label, whilst it continues to soar, with shows at renowned clubs all around the world, such as Womb Tokyo, Fabric London, Awakenings, Output NYC, and Timewarp. Intense, dark and simultaneously smooth, Gary Beck’s sound will escape us after SLAM’s apogee on the decks.
