Belfast's AVA (Audio Visual Arts) Electronic Festival and SHINE have announced a special collaboration that is to take place this NYE at the home of Shine, QUB Students Union. The partnership comes about to celebrate the success of the debut year of AVA festival as well as rounding off the 20 Years of Shine in emphatic style, all on one of the biggest nights in the clubbing calendar, New Years Eve.
Irish favourite PAUL WOOLFORD AKA Special Request will top the bill, after an immensely successful year including signing to XL records and more recently an outstanding BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix as Special Request. Woolford will be supported by some of the best local talent around including Space Dimension Controller, Psycatron, Schmutz, Jordan as well as the newly launched Belfast Underground Radio, who will broadcast live from Room 3 with DJ's Holly Lester, JC Williams, Deep City Groove & Dilly.
A key part of the AVA ethos is the attention to little details, incorporating outstanding visual content & production across the event. Belfast based collective Guerrilla Shout, who debuted a special AV show at the festival earlier in May, will be producing a new concept especially for NYE!
AVA Festival will return to Belfast on Saturday 4th June 2016.
