***** NYE 2015 *****
An institution on the NYE party scene, with years of experience throwing parties up and down the country, the No Resolutions party heads finally settled in London 4 long years ago. In what will be the 7 and a half birthday bonanza, this year once again promises to be ‘so good it’ll blow your party hats off’ (Time Out).
Tickets are strictly limited to ensure ample room to throw shapes. So please, for the love of all things Lionel Richie, DON’T MISS OUT.
****** The Night *****
Start the night in style whilst sipping on some of Grand Union’s Award Winning Cocktails. Our residents will provide some laid back classics to ease you into the night until the debauchery begins and you feel the force of a sound system more rigged than Fifa and more Kurupt than Beats and Grinda.
As the night progresses you’ll see a few familiar faces behind the decks - some of No Resolutions favourite guests - along with a few incredible new discoveries we’ve come across this year, to add some new colour and character to the soundscapes.
Room 1: is a delightful deluge of house and disco beats that will make even your Nan go mad.
Room 2: plays host to a more laidback sound that will make your eargasms last all night.
****** The Line Up *****
*** Nicolas Lorenzini (No Molestar/The Function/Gata Records) ***
Likened by many to Villalobos and Luciano, Nico's sound has developed ahead of trends since he started at the age of 14. Whilst living in Santiago, Berlin & London Nico has played alongside some of the world's finest DJs. His influences are many and all contribute to his his unique yet appealing style. The energy he brings means to his sets always leave people hungry for more.
*** Cal Lewis (Palooza / Off Your Tech Head) ***
Never one to miss a party, Cal Lewis comes to London to welcome in the New Year in what is sure to be memorable fashion. Having founded Palooza (a night which more than lives up to its name) and been the driving force behind some of Nottingham's greatest nights, Cals music choice is always bang on and means he never fails to get a party started.
*** Gus D (No Resolutions) ***
An unparalleled talent for reading the crowd, Gus brings vibes a plenty every single time. His Sunrise Sessions at 222 are things of legend with people climbing through windows and over roofs for a taste of the action. His love for music are the foundations of our parties.
*** Eddie Mo (We The Speakers) ***
A regular at Ministry of Sound, Brixton Academy and many other other top UK venues, Eddie Mo has a very distinct and cheeky character which he manages to bring across in his music. A No Resolutions favourite, having played at all of our events over the past seven years, he has a completely unpretentious attitude and keeps dance floors smiling and dancing for hours.
*** Berry Yirrel ***
We are very pleased this welcome back this all vinyl specialist to join us again this year. Having spent many years learning his trade in the clubs of Southampton Berry has moved to London and begun to have a real impact on the underground scene playing his first NYE party with us last year.
*** Liam Edwards ***
One of three new additions to the No Resolutions line-up this year. This Leeds favourite has been making waves across the north of England and we’re delighted to have him grace the decks this NYE.
*** Jim E ***
Hopping up from south of the river Jimmy is a well known face on the south London circuit and is another New edition to No Resolutions line up we’re excited about. A fine selecta and all round house music Guru his beats are so saucy they’re almost pornographic.
