You’ve ploughed through Christmas and battled the crowds, dealt with the family and built an extended one, New Years is around the corner bringing it a fresh start. So now that’s all out of the way and done, it’s time to break those New Years resolutions you were hoping to keep and we’ve got some pretty good reasons!
None other than the master himself – DJ T. will be hosting SASH by Day for a 4 hour set amongst the hallowed halls of The Greenwood. Not to be out gunned – we’ve enlisted the motley crew of Monkey Tennis with one of our dearest friends, James ‘Pesh’ Petrou to get things on a roll into the night.
One of the finest producers – the masterful Björn Wilke will be taking the glass Terrace for a 3 hour set to lead us into the New Year – that’s a solid start we think!
We also hail the return of techno queen - Claire Morgan back to Australian shores as well as old friend Mike Callander up from Melbourne.
The Den will play host to Lucca Tan off the back of a pretty special set at Subsonic Music Festival with fellow Melbournian – Jay Ivany also making the trip up. One of lowest slug locals – Chris Sauro will be taking care of opening duties to warm things up.
The Maze will host two second-to-none groove masters, Filter Bear making his SASH debut with connoisseur of all things down tempo – Geoffrey James.
And if all of this seems a little placid for you – the crew from Anomaly have a healthy serving of no excuses made techno to be dished out in The Box.
Irrelevant how your 2015 was, it’s history. Let us ease you into the new year with a healthy serving of jams.

For almost twenty years Thomas Koch – DJ T. – has been a vital part of the techno and house scene in a range of different capacities. Koch worked and works as a DJ, producer, promoter, club operator, publisher and journalist. One of the key member responsible for starting Iconic German label Get Physical and solely starting Groove magazine back in the 90’s. T’s contribution to the scene goes far beyond just production. DJ T. has a knack to send even 6pm crowd in a veritable danceathons! A wizard behind the decks and genius in the studio, we welcome a legend, a veteran and a King to SASH this Sunday.

A couple of Sydney’s longest running acts, the two baboons have a long standing history of monkeying around with some of the best sleazy house around.

Head honcho of Sydney based record label Trojan House Records and master all things chunky and chugging tech house will be serving out some slippery afternoon beats to limber up in the afternoon with.

Bjorn Wilke has become one of the most popular and sought after DJs in all of Europe in the last 10 years. He has attracted the attention of music lovers from all over the globe, landing him a three-year residency at Space in Ibiza and gigs at a variety of international festivals and respected venues. Productions have been put out on labels such as Get Physical, Connoisseur Recordings and own imprint Kaato Music. The master of production blew the socks off a rammed Abercormbie last time he was here and we are eager to see him take on our new HOME.
Mike Callander
Melbourne promoter, Haul Music label owner producer and one hell of a Dj who was invited by DJ T. to Berlin to celebrate 20 years of Dj’ing for the sole reason of quality jams.

Over the last few years, Claire has left Australian shores, committed herself to the scene and truly been making some SERIOUS noise overseas! The now Berlin based act has placed herself at the very highest echelons of European line ups housed in the highest regraded German venues.
