SUPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT: Sishi Rosch will be joining Solardo headling this event!
Come and join us as we take over 93 Feet East at the Truman Brewery in the heart of East London's infamous Brick Lane to celebrate a whole year of Double Drop events.
Seems mad to think it was only a year ago we embarked on this adventure into London's thriving rave scene at The Rhythm Factory on Whitechapel road for a small gathering of like-minded friends and music lovers. Since then we have gone on to throw a dozen successful parties in London at venues such as Hoxton Basement, Basing House and most recently Egg Ldn, and those like minded friends and music lovers are now more like a family unit, our Double Drop familia!
We would like to thank EVERYONE who has been a part of this journey with us so far, those of you who have helped create some beautiful memories with music and those who have been with us from day one. No matter how small we are truly grateful for all the support we have received over the last 12 months.
So on the 27th February 2016 we celebrate our 1st birthday and the launch of our new record label, Double Drop Music.
To do so we have got bad boy producers and very talented DJs Solardo! These two are hotly tipped for big things in 2016 with releases on Skreams label of unsound mind, MadTech and Resonance records already under their belts plus a massive ep set to be released on Steve Lawler's ViVa Music. To say we are excited about them joining us on our birthday would be the definition of an understatement. These two are something special!
As mentioned in our suprise announcement we are thrilled to be able to welcome Sishi Rosch. The raw rhythm and close encounters label boss' unique sound and style fits perfectly with Double Drop's music programming. With various releases on huge labels such as ViVa we are overly excited to hear him and Solardo play on the same line up.
As always our founders Sam Sullivan and Smokey Joe will be doing an extended set with some exclusive beats set to be released on our newly formed record label.
We will also have all our residents old and new on rotation and some guest coming down to grace our decks on the day.
