We invite you to join us for the REMEMBER 1st BIRTHDAY
This coming March, R E M E M B E R celebrates its first Birthday after an amazing year of parties, events and an outstanding team effort! What a year it has proven to be, kicking things off the best way we know how at London's favourite spot fabriclondon ! Highlights including a live performance from Crazy P, music from an array of high quality DJs, Street food and a superb art show directed by Remember creative driving force Daniel Mernagh : Artist/Designer
With all of these elements in effect the ball was rolling perfectly as we set the bar high for what we set out to achieve over the coming year!
An exciting summer for R E M E M B E R with events at 'Number90' and 'The London Fields Brewery' led us to our summer highlight and road trip to the 'Secret Garden Party' as we hosted the disco picnic tent on the Saturday of the festival. With rain pouring for most of the weekend but spirits high, residents Bee Shiver, Jack Demeester and Eddie Abbott set the tone for R E M E M B ER favourites Alex Arnout, Lee Rands and Chris Maran to roll it out as we partied through the night. Taking it back to our common interest and reason for doing what we are doing with R E M E M B E R today, having good fun with our friends!
As we moved into the winter months we planned two very exciting and different xmas events to round off the year. Firstly with a R E M E M B E R take over at the 'South Pole Saloon' in Brixton. Concentrating on a more social vibe, the mid-week gathering bought us an Eclectic music selection, amazing pop up food, Jack Daniels bar and superb atmosphere to get us all in the mood for the festive celebrations .
For Part 2 of the Xmas events we concentrated more on the music side of things as we hosted a DJ Mag live stream with amazing music from R E M E B E R resident and favourite London selector Seb Zito, special Guest Isherwood, D.E.S [Deep.End.Soundsystem] and resident Jack Demeester. The perfect way to celebrate a successful year and have some well-deserved Xmas drinks with everyone who helped makes it such a success!
Concentrating not just on a party, but different avenues in which we can create awareness for our cause- aspects such as art, street food, music and social events have given us the platform we required for us to bring to light a subject often pushed aside or not talked about in times of need.
Our chosen Charity The CALMzone have supported us to help achieve our goal and a relationship which has grown stronger over the last year and been recognised by everyone involved to the highest regards. Although Money is not our key goal we have managed to raise £2589.78 for the C.A.L.M charity this year, so we are really happy to be able to help towards the continued hard work of the C.A.L.M volunteers and their support dropping the stigma round mens mental health.
