KREAKX meets Ali Bakhtiar for a unique line up that will make you travel through the beats of Techno!
KR34KX has taken his name from a specific research. It is a contraction of “creative axis”. Considering the fact that the atmosphere on a dance floor comes from a vinyl record rotating on the turntable, it seems that it is around its central axis that music is created.
KR34KX has been a DJ for 20 years. His first contact with a MK2 turntable took place at the age of 11, in a discotheque. It was a sort of illumination.
He spent his whole childhood in musical immersion until the age of 15, with musical references such as Kraftwerk, Brian Eno, U2, Sex Pistols, the Pogues, the Cure, Vangelis, etc…
When in 1986 the first beats of “House” and “Acid House” appeared, he got naturally attracted towards this new sound, and never stepped away from it.
His current influences are a melting pot between “Berlin Techno” and “French Techno/House”. More recently, he started mixing sets with a more “Electro” vibe through an atypical, powerful and nervous music.
He played along big names such as Milioch, Miss Kittin, Electric Rescue, Armand, Arnaud L’Aquarium, Electrobugz, Konik DZ, The Edge and Tom Selekt. He also played during the P.U.R.E party along with Frankie Bones (New York), Mark Flash Underground Resistance (Detroit), Silicone Soul (Soma Glasgow), Kristofo, Mards T, Louca and others.
With a huge experience, KR34KX is now wearing various hats: DJ, Producer but also co-manager of the Parisian label Oxymor Records.
As always free entrance, but this time as after Brunch, starting the sound at 4pm.
